Amy B. Norberg, Divorce Attorney, Bankruptcy Lawyer, and More

While still in law school, Amy went to work for the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office as a law clerk with the criminal division, working with arraignments and domestic abuse.  As a certified student attorney, she conducted court trials and was involved with charging offenses.  By the time she became a lawyer in 2004, Amy had become familiar with the workings of the prosecution system.  She still defends clients charged with DWI/DUI, domestic assault, Order for Protection violations and similar issues.

After joining Twin City Attorneys, Amy expanded her knowledge into divorce and bankruptcy.  She soon found that many divorces involved Order for Protection violations and that the financial tragedy of divorce forced some clients into bankruptcy.

On a personal level, Amy was born in Winnipeg, but has lived in the Twin Cities since she was four months old.  She has a special place in her heart for the developmentally disabled.  She has volunteered with the PALS program since high school, and has helped with the Special Olympics for over 10 years.
